Dr. Michael J. Fisher
At the tender age of eighteen, Rev. Michael J. Fisher – son of the legendary Dr. W. Jerome Fisher and Min. Norma Fisher – stepped into his destiny as one of God’s called and anointed spokesmen of the gospel ministry. With an unprecedented timeline, Rev. Michael Fisher was licensed, ordained and elevated to Youth Pastor, then to Co-Pastor (serving alongside his father), and eventually named the Pastor of the then Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church, which is now Greater Zion Church Family.

Dr. Fisher uses his influences to affect change in the lives of the congregation he under-shepherds, the local Greater Los Angeles area, the country, and even abroad. He is in constant pursuit of various means to reach a culture that may not always walk into the church edifice. Such efforts have resulted in the following: Pastor Fisher is a gospel recording artist under the name J. Kingdom; local radio shows including “What’s Up With That” and the first, ever sermonic airing on Los Angeles’ premier hip-hop station; Founder/Director of nationally acclaimed and winning choirs, Voices of Destiny and Destiny 24. From his visionary insight critical programs emerged. The Young Visionaries Program, the #PUSH100 Initiative, and the founding of the Alpha Phi Zion Christian Fraternity. This is all a testament to the depth of Pastor Fisher’s dedication and commitment to his church and the community as a whole. Most recently, Dr. Fisher had his first book published, “12 Pillars of the Church”.

Understanding that his mandate exceeds his own ministry, Pastor Fisher has been described as a “Pastor’s Pastor”, providing pastoral leadership to a growing number of Senior Pastors and a ministerial staff. At the close of the day, it is the heart, the mission, the drive, and the motivation of Pastor Michael Fisher to change the world through service to God by way of building a bridge that stretches from the throne of God to the broken lives of men. Pastor Michael Fisher’s prayer is for the power of God to help us attain the mission that is set before us, so many lives might be saved and the people of God will be set on a path of complete deliverance. Dr. Fisher is a dedicated family man to his wife and children, all building the Kingdom, together.
